July 22, 2025 - 10pm MORSANI Italy

Bay of Cannes July 22, 2025 - 10pm

Theme: Italianissimo! A starry night

In the bay of Cannes, the Italianissimo! A starry night pays tribute to Italian classical music and the elegance of the city of Cannes. Against a backdrop of the greatest works by Vivaldi, Verdi, Puccini and Rossini, the sky lights up with a perfectly synchronized ballet of lights.

Combining musical tradition, pyrotechnic innovation and natural beauty, this sensory spectacle recreates the magic of open-air opera.
Each sequence becomes a visual and aural journey through the ages, from Baroque to Romanticism.

Since 1880, when his great-grandfather Reginaldo chose to found his small fireworks factory in the province of Rieti, Pirotecnica Morsani has enchanted young and old alike by painting the sky with geometries and figures rich in color and imagination. Over the years, the firm has specialized with wisdom and mastery in the creation of fireworks of all kinds, and today this family, with many sacrifices and in the face of many difficulties, has become one of the leading exponents of the art of pyrotechnics not only in Italy but throughout the world. Passion handed down from generation to generation, experimentation, innovation and the contribution of skilled collaborators have enabled them to grow from strength to strength, giving shape to aesthetic thoughts and projects of great technical and artistic value.

Currently, all shows are designed by pyrotechnic scenographer Telesforo Morsani. Having inherited the family business from his father Bernardino, he has devoted himself body and soul to maintaining the family name in the Olympus of Italian pyrotechnics and exporting it abroad, showing the world the quality and passion for which his family is the forerunner. The attention to detail and passion for beauty and art that Telesforo puts into every one of his creations make each show unique and preserve the prestige and values of Morsani intact.
