Each member of the jury must assess the pyro-musical shows in accordance with the following criteria :

Quality and originality of the fireworks : colours and forms
– Soundtrack : musical choices, sequences
– Synchronization : precision between the sound effects and the fireworks, choice of tempo
– General artistic impression : tableaux, pyrotechnic design and compliance with the chosen theme.

The assessment marks and any other documents used by members of the jury in relation to their marks are confidential and remain the sole property of the SEMEC. Each member of the jury has a score sheet that remains confidential until the final deliberation. After each display, these sheets are collected and kept by a SEMEC representative until the subsequent display.

Théano JAILLET

Heritage curator and director of the Cannes museums

Théano Jaillet is heritage curator and director of the Cannes museums. Originally from French Polynesia, she graduated from the Ecole du Louvre, the University of Monterrey in Mexico and the Institut National du Patrimoine in Paris. Passionate about Greek antiquity and the arts of Oceania, she was able to work with the curators of the Louvre Museum, the British Museum, the Quai Branly Museum – Jacques Chirac and directed the Museum of Tahiti and the Islands in Punaauia for six years before settling in Cannes. She is now at the head of a dynamic team responsible for implementing the scientific and cultural activities of the Museum of World Explorations in Le Suquet (formerly the Castre Museum) and the Museum of the Iron Mask and Fort Royal in Sainte-Marguerite Island (formerly the Sea Museum), while developing new museum projects. It thus contributes to the preservation of old collections and the transmission of this heritage.

Bruno VANDELLI

Choreographer trainer and international teacher

After a very prolific career as a dancer, in many international dance companies, Bruno Vandelli began his career as a choreographer in the 90s while following a course as a trainer and teacher for the Ministry of Culture. He was chosen by the ice dance skaters in 2001: Marina Anissina and Gwendal Peyzerat to choreograph the free dance that they will present in 2002, at the Olympic Games, in Salt Lake City. Their performance will earn France the first ever gold medal in ice dancing. Thanks to “I have a dream” they will also obtain the title of European and World champions. Bruno also takes up challenges offered by various television channels, in particular M6 which, at his request, offers him the position of jury and choreographer for the show “Pop Stars” and various variety shows. He then became a choreographer for many singers. He stages events for international fashion within the “ELITE MODEL LOOK” agency. Nelson FABIANO

Painter

Nelson Fabiano was born in 1973 in Portugal. He works and lives in Cannes. Visual artist and photographer, he works on a wide variety of themes. He likes to play with matter, lines and colors. The void has an important place in his work, as evidenced by a series of canvases with an oppressive atmosphere. He paints sofas, armchairs, deserted rooms and as many places familiar to the man who nevertheless seems to have abandoned his paintings. Nelson Fabiano also works on pictures of large cities that he himself took throughout his life. He is also a member of the Taylor Foundation in Paris and of the Maison des Artistes français.

Philippe MULLER

Editor-in-chef – Cannes Radio

After studying English and journalism in Nice, Philippe joined the Cannes Radio team in August 1990. A radio station he only left for 6 years (from 2004 to 2010) before returning as editor-in-chief . Philippe presents Cannes Radio news flashes every morning from Monday to Friday from 6:30 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. and at 12:30 p.m. It also covers major cultural, sporting and economic events on the Côte d’Azur. Philippe also teaches radio at the Iut de Cannes on the Georges Méliès campus and has hosted the Fnac forums in Cannes and Nice for 23 years. Painter

Raised in the Parisian artistic milieu, after studying Design & Art History, Béa Corteel, alias BéaYATO worked in graphic arts and fashion. It is on the Côte d’Azur that the artist has set up her studio where she works with porcelain and Upcycling. On vintage plates that she hunts for in Provence, but that she sends all over the world, she recreates by hand tailor-made decorations by playing with old decorations. For hotels, restaurants, shops, architects or decorators, brands or events, she transforms them, exhibits them and turns them into personalized wall compositions. Each piece is Unique. Marie LOPEZ

Joining Sacem in 2007 as Internal Customer Service Manager in Fréjus, Marie Lopez was promoted to the position of Regional Delegate in Metz in 2014.
